The perimeter cabinets are soft cream painted maple. The island is Hickory wood with a Tawny colored stain. We mixed both the painted and stain color to give their kitchen a warm feel. Before they had a peninsula that they sat at. We added an island instead and opened up the kitchen space. Denise, the homeowner, added her special touch with her decorating and beautiful paint color on the walls.

The countertops are laminate with an undermount sink.
